The founders of Viper VoIP struggled for years with old analog PBX that everyone loved to “hate”. Upgrading to VoIP was a natural choice considering the founder's background and decades of experience with software development and IT/IS. It quickly became evident that selecting an existing off-the-shelf product would not be an easy process. Licensing fees, upgrade cost, lack of flexibility and proprietary nature immediately eliminated all the dominant players: 3Com, Cisco, Avaya, Nortel, etc.

After investigating over 20 different VoIP solutions, Viper Corporation founders realized they had to create a new system that would actually deliver as promised while posessing the flexibility and interoperability needed. From experience we all know how important it is to have the right solution; a product that is reliable, easy to use and does what you need it to do. What was actually created was a clearly disruptive technological platform for a new generation of VoIP solutions.

The industry is shifting from proprietary solutions to those that are more easily implemented and maintained by an IT department. We quickly become aware how solid our solution is, and received praise from customers. We continue to advance our solution through solid internal R&D processes, partnering with only the best suppliers in the business.
